POSITION: FULL TIME SEASONAL-POTENTIAL FULL TIME YEAR ROUND

BUILDING SUPPLY COUNTER ASSOCIATE

This dynamic and hectic department is perfect for someone who enjoys learning at a fast pace, has great communication skills and recognizes the need to help our Contractors conduct their business quickly and efficiently. You will be processing sales, assisting Project Sales Associates and learning everything about the building industry. The knowledge you gain will be shared with customers who need to know their options when considering a project or purchase.The job requires a flexible schedule, the ability to work as a team player, good math skills and most important a friendly attitude. Prior retail experience and/or knowledge of the building industry would be considered an asset but we are willing to train the successful candidate.

PAINT DEPARTMENT ASSOCIATE

This very busy department will appeal to someone who is outgoing, friendly and helpful. You will be learning in a fast paced environment and ultimately be responsible to inform and offer recommendations to customers needing paint and/or associated products. in addition, you will be stocking shelves, providing general housekeeping duties and learning all about the paint industry including trends, color matching and new products. The job requires a team player wih a flexible schedule. A flair for design/colour, previous retail expereience, and/or a background in paint will be considered an asset but we are willing to train the successful candidate.

YARD/DELIVERY DRIVER

Working outside, this job encompasses a wide variety of tasks such as deliveries, unloading/loading trucks, assisting customers with their purchases and general maintenance of the grounds and builidngs. You will need to have a friendly attitude, the ability to work as a team member, be healthy and fit and demonstrate a willingness to learn about the building supply industry. A valid class 3 or 5 license with abstract is required as well as a flexible schedule.
